Requirements:
Kandrea Insulation and Scaffolding is looking to recruit ambitious Journeyperson Scaffolders for various projects throughout Alberta. Candidates must possess CSTS 2020, ESC Fall Protection, H2S and be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
We are approved with LMIA
Scaffolders erect and dismantle temporary work support platforms or structures that hold workers, tools, equipment, and construction components.
Responsibilities:
Work at heights with proper safety restrain
Lift up to 50lbs
Understands, identifies and describes the components and materials used in an Industrial system
Must be able to follow direction and work with minimal supervision
Must be in good physical condition and able to work at heights
Must be able to communicate and work effectively with other trades
Identifies, defines, and applies information found on ISO and P&ID drawings for the application of insulating materials without supervision
Safety is everyone's responsibility and you are responsible to look out for yourself and those around you
Education & Experience
Post-secondary or technical training is an asset
Safety tickets including: CSTS, Fall Protection, H2S Alive
Skills
Problem solving on a daily basis
Interpersonal skills with clients and co-workers
Organization and time management skills
Communication both verbally and written
Prioritizing multiple demands on a project or work site
Physical & Other Requirements
Lifting, bending, climbing
Ability to be exposed to various types of work environments
Use of various shop equipment and trade-related hand tools
Use of ladders or scaffolding
Working in confined spaces
Working with WHMIS products and materials
Use of specialized PPE such as respirators, coveralls and safety glasses.
