Requirements:
An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Geological or Civil Engineering and must be registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with EGBC. The successful applicant will work on a variety of mining and hydropower projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Site investigations
- Laboratory testing
- Data analysis
- Geotechnical analysis and design
- Construction monitoring
- Report preparation
- Modelling and GIS
Projects that the successful candidate may be involved with include tailings dams, geotechnical support to operating underground and open pit mines, mine infrastructure, water retaining dams, pipelines, and hydropower facilities.
We place an emphasis on developing practical solutions to meet our Client's needs, and preference will be given to individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in addition to strong technical competence.
