- Post- Secondary education in Engineering, Finance or Business
- Minimum 10 yrs of experience in a senior leadership capacity in manufacturing sector
- Experience with automotive sector an asset
- Good background in Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies and handling change management
- Experienced with scheduling, cost reduction, and managing financials

Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization-s development, future growth and execution of strategic plans
- Lead the organization and enhance effectiveness and profitability and achieve cost reduction in all areas
- Lead the organization to achieve improved pre- Tax profitability
- Financial responsibility including budgets and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and legislation
- Overall responsibility including engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, human resources and sales
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to operational budget and ensure operational goals are being achieved
- Assess equipment, operational capacity and opportunity for growth based on a strong understanding of market data and able to lead customer discussions when needed
- Ensure product and service delivery excellence
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to operational budget and ensure that operational goals are achieved
- Provide leadership on performance management, training and development of support staff, and recruitment initiatives
- Develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives to deliver business and operational excellence to customer base
- Develop departmental budgets
- Provide financial analysis of month end financials prepared by Accountants
- Implement best practices across manufacturing and engineering operations
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors and internal staff
- Lead strategic initiatives around technology, innovation and investment
- Liaise with company-s bank
- Be responsible for the completion of government reporting requirements
- Travel to México plant and oversee the remote operation periodically
