Requirements:

• • Possess a bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, biology, ecology or related discipline
• • Strong research and analytical skills
• • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• • Strong networking skills
• • Very organized; able to organize self and others
• • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs or similar (e.g. Word, Excel, Access etc)
• • Fluent in spoken and written English

• • Experience working in non-profit organization, land planning, grant writing, ecology or project management
• • Experience in relevant provincial legislation
• • Knowledge of local flora and fauna

Job description:

• • Coordinate and execute environmental planning projects, from successful initiation to completion of projects
• • Project management and collaboration with clients including defining project scope, objectives, and budgets.
• • Direct multi-disciplinary project teams and manage client and regulator communications.
• • Research and apply for funding opportunities
• • Conduct technical fieldwork in your area of expertise.
• • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing site conditions, impact assessments, and recommendations.
• • Drive business development by expanding your professional network and retaining clients.
• • Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior staff and volunteers
• • Developing and maintaining environmental protection program procedures and related documentation associated with monitoring programs.
