Pacific Western Transportation's one-of-a-kind Communications Centre of Excellence (CCoE) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Content Specialist to join our all-star team! The Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for creating and executing the Pacific Western Group of Companies digital media and content creation initiatives for multiple brands across Canada, with a primary focus on our Motorcoach division.


Develop, implement, and track campaigns and tactics; analyze and report on performance and efficiencyCollaborate with other internal teams to develop and monitor strategic initiativesConduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunitiesPrepare and design various materials, including social engagement posts, online advertising, web content, blogs, and newslettersUse a variety of communications mediums to engage external audiencesCopyedit, proofread, and revise communicationsManage social media and online presences with the goal of increasing reach, engagement, and reputationAnalyze engagement and reputation to inform future social marketing activities, and pro-actively participate in the ideation and development of content and campaignsUse various content management systems to update websites, build landing pages for relevant ads and promotions, and manage social mediaResearch, write, and edit stories for
internal communications appOther duties, as required


Degree or diploma in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or related fieldA minimum of 2 years' experience in the Digital Media, Marketing, or Communications industryStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentDemonstrated experience producing a variety of materials/content for various audiencesExceptional writing, copy-editing, and proofreading skills, with high attention to detailHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and analytics toolsExperience with WordPress and Hootsuite content management systems considered an assetAdvanced understanding of social media platforms and strategies, with hands-on experience delivering social media campaignsStrong understanding of digital analytics tracking and reportingSelf-starter and team player who thrives working both independently or within a groupExcellent relationship management skills to work with a variety of stakeholders across the organizationPhotography and videography skills considered strong assetsOccasional travel and evening/weekend work may be required
