Job Summary:
At Mad Science & Imagine Arts Academy we have a blast. Build and fly rockets, demonstrate lasers, explore the states of matter using dry ice, and help children create slime and other polymers. You will inspire the next generation of scientists through our innovative activities that show kids what science is really all about.

We are currently looking for outgoing and exciting staff to perform mad science parties and after- school programs for both mad science & imagine arts academy.

We provide the training and equipment and handle all the booking and scheduling from our Office. All you do is go have fun with the kids!
Our After- School Programs are scheduled after the school day ends for one- Hour sessions in schools & in community centers.
Our Birthday Party Performers must be available weekends
This is a part- Time job, but we prefer someone with a flexible schedule who can take on many opportunities when given plenty of notice.
Pay is based on per session, not per hour. For example: For a one- Hour class you are expected to be onsite 15mins before the start of the program and 15mins after the program for clean- Up. $40 is the rate for the entirety of the session. There is some compensation for travel in addition to your class rate.
Requirements:
An outgoing and dynamic personality
Enjoys performing in front of an audience
Experience with groups of children ages 4- 12
Some experience in theater a plus.
Reliable transportation (Aa must)
A cell phone
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Lots of energy
All employees are required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Screening at time of hiring
