Requirements:
Be licensed as a 310T Mechanic.
Have experience in fleet maintenance.
Be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
Have good computer and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Assigning mechanics their jobs using the shop computer system (TMT)
Authorizing repairs both in the shop and on the road
Reviewing mechanics work orders making sure all parts and labour is changed out on the proper sections
Arranging repairs with outside vendors for both scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs, in Canada and the U.S
Monitoring mechanics so that their work is performed in a cost efficient and timely manner
Working with dispatchers so that equipment is repaired according to priority
Arrange facility repairs according to company guidelines when required
Benefits:
Two $400 performance bonuses annually (pro-rated)
Two $150 accessory allowances annually (pro-rated)
Impressive Hourly Rates - $36/hour to $38/hour!
An extra $2/hour shift incentive for the weekday midnight
A clean, modern, up to date facility with the latest diagnostic software.
A modern fleet of Freightliner Cascadias with DD15 power plants and Kenworths with MX13 power plants.
A 4 day work week.
