Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator

Exciting and exclusive opportunity for an experienced Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator to join a family oriented company with high values and morals. Located on the west end of Edmonton, our client is looking to add a coordinator to their team to maximize effective and efficient inventory levels and product flow.

Job Description:
• Verify that offsite movements (incoming and outgoing) balance and reconcile with famous.
• Reconcile raw & finished product in coolers 1 & 2 with WIS and Famous.
• Maintain a master inventory report and KPI for each onsite and offsite warehouse.
• Purchase raw materials, packaging, supplies and monitor inventory levels accordingly. (with approval from Supply Chain Manager)
• Coordinate production and packaging requirements for Edmonton and co-packing plants according to sales forecast and remaining raw supply
• Prepare grower orders in coordination with Field and production
• Constant tracking of performance and implementation of continuous improvement principles.

The company will expect from you:
• 5 years experience in purchasing and inventory management
• Diploma in operations management or business
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Able to work independently and in a team setting
• Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
• Require exceptional computer skills and extensive experience in building spreadsheets/ reports and experience in inventory management software.
