Our Edmonton based client is looking for an Accountant to join their finance team. The right fit is someone with great attention to detail, a strong sense of engagement and an outgoing personality!

Job Description:
• Assist the controller as required.
• Period financial statement preparation, analysis, and supporting month end schedules and journal entries.
• Balance Sheet and Income Statement account reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Inventory control
• Internal policy control and compliance
• Fixed asset financial management
• Monthly reporting including various ad hoc requests

What they will expect from you:
• 3+ years experience with full cycle accounting, from day-to-day functions to financial reporting and budgeting.
• Excellent excel skills and working knowledge of ACCPAC
