PC Video Game Designer

  • • Remote (Worldwide)
  • • Skilled game designers wanted for open positions in open-world game development.

Your Mission:

  • • Create the most engaging version of the video game.

Responsibilities:

  • • Help create clear game design documentation for game developers.
  • • Lead workflow practices to streamline productivity and creativity.
  • • Lead design sessions to provide constructive input on plans.
  • • Mentor members of the Game Design team.

Key Duties:

  • • Work collaboratively with designers to create thrilling experiences for audiences.
  • • Provide direction to overall gameplay ideas by making key decisions.
  • • Manage sprint design planning and resources across projects.
  • • Merge dispersed game design elements into a cohesive plan.

Traits:

  • • Build upon existing game economy designs.
  • • Make collaborative decisions with teammates.
  • • Highly communicative.
  • • Fresh eyes, flexible.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • • Own initiatives from start to finish while collaborating within a team environment.
  • • Detail-oriented game professional specializing in game design principles.
  • • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people.

Bonus points:

  • • Single-player, MMORPG quest, and multiplayer expressions.
  • • Experience working on products in development.
  • • Puzzle and quest design experience.
  • • Resolving storyline plot abilities.
