The successful candidate will have the experience and knowledge to manage some of the Training & Development Organization functions as well as some Staffing activities at our UTAS (United Technology Aerospace Systems) facility located in Canada, B.?C.? The selected candidate will work closely with the employee population to understand the developmental needs of the organization and any issues that are of concern to the employees and respond to these concerns in a timely matter.? He or She will work closely with the various area managers and team leaders to ensure they are promoting a positive & productive work environment.? Assist in leading the Canada organizational development processes and monitoring its application to ensure consistency for all employees.? Other responsibilities may include taking a role in coaching and counseling employees to help guide them to best business practice decisions.? The selected candidate will also be responsible for delivering all facets of learning and training throughout the facility while ensuring we are developing the best possible talent to accomplish UTAS objectives.?

*Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Human Resources or other applicable degree such as Industrial Relations or Business Administration or similar relevant discipline is required.?

*Candidates must have a minimum of 5 +? years working experience in HR

*Experience working in a Maquiladora and general knowledge of US Labor Laws is a plus but not required.?

*Experience handling Employee Relations issues and providing coaching and counseling is highly preferred.?

*Excellent people skills, ability to manage projects, ability to plan, document and implement employee relations initiatives.?

*Ability to work as part of a team environment in a positive and proactive manner is a must.?

*Strong technical writing and PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).?

*Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work closely as a team with other international locations.?

*Candidates must have current travel Visa to travel to US for training and events.?

*Experience working with PeopleSoft software preferred but not required.?

*All candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and English (Written and Verbal).?
