You will be an integral part of designing and structuring the new kitchen, including OHS practices, budgets, operational plans, facilitating continuous improvement and staff recruitment
We require an enthusiastic, hands on, dedicated leader who is passionate about excellent cuisine, and is willing to work closely with management & lead a dynamic hotel kitchen team.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Extensive experience in a very busy hotel with multiple dining areas including Bistro, Restaurant & Functions.
* Proven management skills including menu planning, working within budgets, food ordering, an excellent knowledge of local & seasonal produce, cost & stock control, kitchen management practices & staff recruitment & development.
* Eye for quality & consistency in both food & service essential
