Overview
You will apply Enterprise Architecture design and deliver enterprise framework components for application technology groups and provide professional services for web application develop regarding framework usage, application design and development, and supporting infrastructure components.

This position will focus on delivering architecture professional services to internal teams developing web applications that integrate core systems. The professional service engagement will often be around the use of the framework components but is not limited to those. Other responsibilities include design and development of framework components specific to application engagement. Assistance will also be provided in development of enterprise framework components. Consultations will include integration considerations to back-end systems, front-end channels, and authentication technologies.

Responsibilities
• Provide architecture consultation and oversight for applications teams to conform to enterprise standards, patterns, and best practices
• Provide professional services and guidance to application teams on adopting and using the framework components
• Lead and participate in the design, development, support, and maintenance of modules related to application engagement
• Identify common sharing opportunities and initiate cross-teams effort on reuse and governance
• Provide mentoring and conduct training classes for application developers
• Participate in the preparation of framework training materials
• Ensure cross training of Department team members via internal seminars and system documentation
• Participate in discussion for the establishment of key enterprise technology roadmap, standards, patterns, guidelines and best practices, and technology selection for the framework development and related solutions

Requirements
• At least 10 years working experience in a highly technical, architecture related field
• Excellent knowledge of Java, JSF, JavaScript, HTML and up-to-date knowledge of various web technologies and Industry trend
• Excellent knowledge of XML, Relational Databases, JEE application servers, SOA, Web development, Message Queues
• Has in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs
• Good knowledge of relational database design and implementation
• Excellent knowledge of application development methodology, best practice, design patterns, and architecture
• Customer service oriented, willingness to provide assistance that may go beyond
• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Positive working altitude
• Knowledge of connectivity with the AS/400 platform or IBM Mainframe an asset
• Knowledge of Websphere and Weblogic configuration and deployment an asset
