This organisation is currently seeking a Director to assist the Vice President in the development of operating objectives, policies and implementation for their high performing business located in Calgary location . The Director position is responsible for the supervision of the Organization's legal services.
Developing employees and supporting their ongoing professional career development
Ensuring that policies and procedures are understood at each of the organisations centres
Develop and implement processes which facilitate cooperation and teamwork
Dealing with conflict and managing through the conflict
Demonstrating business acumen by effectively managing employee relations and financial information.
Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Conducting statistical and financial analyses for the organisation and reporting to the VP relative to findings
Review and analyses daily operating conditions deemed necessary for the organization to achieve goals and
Works collaboratively with other stakeholders to establish best practices in all aspects of daily service delivery to clients
Provides information to external, internal stakeholders and the public regarding the organizations established services
Reviews client complaints
Candidates with MBA and Law degrees are preferred
Completion of post-secondary studies in leadership and a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing professional employees, including mentoring, coaching and developing employees
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a professional services organization or a non-profit organization
Knowledge of people management
Knowledge of operational planning
Understanding of financial and budgeting processes
The ideal candidate will have a Strong Operations or HR background
