This organisation is currently seeking a Director to assist the Vice President in the development of operating objectives, policies and implementation for their high performing business located in Calgary location . The Director position is responsible for the supervision of the Organization's legal services.

Job description:
• Developing employees and supporting their ongoing professional career development
• Ensuring that policies and procedures are understood at each of the organisations centres
• Develop and implement processes which facilitate cooperation and teamwork
• Dealing with conflict and managing through the conflict
• Demonstrating business acumen by effectively managing employee relations and financial information.
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Conducting statistical and financial analyses for the organisation and reporting to the VP relative to findings
• Review and analyses daily operating conditions deemed necessary for the organization to achieve goals and
• Works collaboratively with other stakeholders to establish best practices in all aspects of daily service delivery to clients
• Provides information to external, internal stakeholders and the public regarding the organizations established services
• Reviews client complaints
Qualifications:
• Candidates with MBA and Law degrees are preferred
• Completion of post-secondary studies in leadership and a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing professional employees, including mentoring, coaching and developing employees
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a professional services organization or a non-profit organization
• Knowledge of people management
• Knowledge of operational planning
• Understanding of financial and budgeting processes
• The ideal candidate will have a Strong Operations or HR background
