To join our Toronto-based team. This newly created
Position requires a careful balance of analytical and business skills, and a
Positive attitude in the face of complexity.

Reporting directly to the Founder, you will be
Responsible for all of the back end operations of the company. This includes managing the supply chain,
Logistics (including warehouse), IT systems used to manage sales and
Accounting, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and all matters
Relating to finance and accounting.

Requirements:

Key
Responsibilities:

·
Review,
Develop, implement and manage operational and financial systems

·
Manage
All aspects of a complex and varied supply chain, from placing purchase orders,
Managing suppliers, overseeing logistics and warehouse operations,

·
Improve
The entire supply chain by increasing efficiency, planning and reducing costs
(eg shipping costs)

·
Manage
Inventory, including product analysis and input into new product development

·
Manage
Product pricing and margins, together with Founder and Director of Sales

·
Manage
E-commerce platform (Shopify) including order processing, tracking etc.

·
Manage
Drop ship wholesale accounts

·
Manage
Invoicing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, authorize
Payments, and review expense accounting

·
Manage
Cash flow

·
Develop
A weekly Key Performance Indicator PI) report of financial and operational
Metrics

Qualifications:

·
Degree in business administration,
Finance, operations management or equivalent (BA or MA) , or proven directly
Relevant experience an asset

·
Strong Experience and comfort with
Accounting and/or financial management

·
Minimum 7-10 years qualification
Experience, including 3 years management experience

·
Experience in a physical products
Company strongly preferred

·
Comfort with IT platforms and
Management systems (the company uses TradeGecko, Shopify and QuickBooks)

·
Strong Excel skills

Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and confidence in presenting to key stakeholders
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting; strong willingness to affect change with an understanding of the unique challenges encountered in small businesses
